Many teenage girls and boys used cellphones or the Internet to send nude or semi-nude images of themselves, a new study shows
More than one in five teen girls have sent nude or semi-nude images of themselves
Eleven percent of girls in the 13-16 age group have done so
Almost one in five teen boys have done so
One-third of young adults in the 2026 age group have done so
Thirty-nine percent of teens and 59 percent of young adults have sent sexually suggestive text messages or e-mails
Forty-eight percent of teens have received sexually suggestive messages
One-third of young teenage girls, ages 1316 have received sexually suggestive messages
